Mission Omaha Helps Those in Need June 30th, 2011 by NP Dodge Marketing Team Over 400 Youth Volunteer Time and Skills to Renovate Homes.
The week of June 20th, the Mission Omaha Foundation, Inc. brought in over 400 youth, adult leaders and volunteers (twice the number of the first Mission Omaha workcamp in 2009) from across the country for another week long service project. They renovated nearly 60 homes for Omaha?s elderly, disabled, and low income residents.

?We saw the benefit to the city?s elderly, disabled and low-income residents during our first Mission Omaha two summers ago,? says Mary Rosenthal of Mission Omaha Foundation, Inc. ?This year we?ve attracted twice as many young volunteers to hopefully do twice as much good work.?
